e-Business Expenses Will Increase
// TheWorldJournal.com

$5 trillion will be spent in the next four years to promote e-commerce development.

Despite NASDAQ falling stock levels and the pessimistic forecast for the future in the electronic market, companies are going to spend at least 5 trillion dollars in the next four years on the creation of B2B and B2C systems.

IDC Research company's interrogation, which involved 27 countries among IT-managers, directors and customers, revealed companies are going to spend more money on web-infrastructure development this year than in several prior years.

IDC predicts that within the next four years the number of websites will double, and electronic commerce will increase ten-fold. Other research indicates that by 2005, consumers in the United States will spend more than 700 billion dollars on online purchases and services; less than 10% of websites support online payment systems. By 2005, the English language will continue to be the dominant language on the Internet despite the fact that the majority of Internet users will be speaking Chinese.
