BOSTON, (May 2, 2007) – The Independent Film Festival of Boston (IFFBoston) today announced the full list of award winners from the 2007 festival.

Grand Jury Prize:
Narrative Feature: DAY NIGHT DAY NIGHT directed by Julia Loktev
Documentary Feature: THE KING OF KONG directed by Seth Gordon
Short Film: POP FOUL directed by Moon Molson

Special Jury Prize:
Narrative Feature: MONKEY WARFARE directed by Reg Harkema
Documentary Feature: KAMP KATRINA directed by David Redmon & Ashley Sabin
Short Film: SONGBIRD directed by John Thompson

Audience Award:
Narrative Feature: YEAR OF THE FISH directed by David Kaplan
Documentary Feature: DARIUS GOES WEST directed by Logan Smalley
Short Film: FREEHELD directed by Cynthia Wade

Apple Programmer's Choice Award:
GRETCHEN directed by Steve Collins

Dewars Collective Choice Award:
YEAR OF THE FISH directed by David Kaplan

Best Marketing:
TWISTED: A BALLOONAMENTARY directed by Naomi Greenfield & Sara Taksler

Special guests at the festival this year included: Will Arnett, Eliza Dushku, James Urbaniak, Joey McIntyre, Michael Corrente, Ted Hope, and Mayor Thomas Menino among others.
