The Independent Film Festival of Boston: 2007 Line-Up BOSTON, (March 17, 2007) — The Independent Film Festival of Boston (IFFBoston) today announced the films that will be featured at the 2007 Independent Film Festival of Boston. The fifth annual festival will be held April 25-April 30, 2007. The festival, complete with more than 100 film screenings, filmmaker Q&A sessions, panel discussions, visiting filmmakers, parties and events will showcase the works of filmmakers who seek to create films that are life changing, thought provoking and expose aspects of life in new and revealing manners. This 5th anniversary festival welcomes back a number of IFFBoston alumni with new films including, Andy Blubaugh, Eric Chaiken, Steve Collins, Don Hertzfeldt, Ted Hope, Matthew Lessner, David Redmon, Josh Safdie, Joe Swanberg and Michael Tully. "FAY GRIM" directed by Hal Hartley starring Parker Posey and Jeff Goldblaum will open the festival on Wednesday, April 25 at the Somerville Theatre in Davis Square.
