Die Another Day By Ninawa Butrus, TheWorldJournal.com Pierce Brosnan is back for the fourth time as Ian Flemming's classy British spy, agent James Bond 007 in the twentieth Bond film produced in 40 years. Filled with fast cars and amazing stunts, Die Another Day is a reminder of how successful the Bond series is, having evolved from the first Bond movie Dr. No in 1962 which starred Sean Connery. There have been five actors who've played Bond, those being Sean Connery, George Lazenby, Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton and the current Bond, Pierce Brosnan. Furthermore, who can forget the countless beautiful Bond girls, namely Ursula Andress, Diana Rigg, Claudine Auger, Honor Blackman, Famke Janssen, Terri Hatcher, Michelle Yeoh, Sophie Marceau, and Denise Richards. Co-starring in the film is Oscar Award Winning actress and Revlon model Halle Berry who plays US agent Jinx - Bond's female equivalent who captures audiences in her Ursula Andress homage scene where she comes out of the water in a similar bikini. The bikini worn by Andress in Dr. No recently sold for a high price at auction. Also featured in Die Another Day are Rosamond Pike as Miranda Frost, Toby Stephens as Gustav Graves and Rick Yune as Zao. Superstar Madonna makes a small appearance in the film as well as singing the theme song, Die Another Day which has just been released. Pierce Brosnan fans never fear- Brosnan is rumoured to be signing on to continue his role as James Bond for upcoming Bond movies. Die Another Day is a spectacular film which hardcore Bond fans will enjoy immensely and is out in cinemas in December.
