Today The Journal's management had a long chat about the future of this international student online news journal. "We agreed to start a promotion campaign and to create a list of other projects", said Artashes Toumanov, the founder of TheWorldJournal.com

The policy of The Journal and some crucial parts of it will be changed. The important part of it is to attract a lot of new people and to increase TheWorldJournal.com budget.

Artashes Toumanov, the founder, and Candice Pascoal, Business Manager and Promotion Director of TheWorldJournal.com had several meetings yesterday and today about the future of TheWorldJournal.com The result of this long chats could the beginning of a promotion campaign.

"First of all, we still don't know the exact date when the promotion campaign starts. But we can say for sure, that it will start in following two weeks. Our meeting mostly was dedicated for The Journal's research about our audience and other details. We needed to build a plan. Now, after we allocated all the problems, we could start with some brand-new ideas that will help us to become bigger." - said Artashes Toumanov, the founder of TheWorldJournal.com, right after the meeting.

We now know that their first step will be a promotion in the Canadian student newspapers. It is a serious audience - many thousands of people.

They also decided to alter some parts of The Journal. This again could be the text policy.

The Journal's management has also come up with the idea of creating many other projects. What are those exactly no one knows for sure. We'll see what it is very soon.

Next step is the Internet advertising itself. Thereby they believe that they would be able to pay for it from our budget. "We've started looking for different sites that could be our potentials partners and we has already found some serious sites" - said Artashes Toumanov.

We, of course, will be keeping an eye on this "big" start.
