| J. Lo Down Under By Ninawa Butrus, TheWorldJournal.com Hollywood actress/pop diva Jennifer Lopez arrived in Sydney, Australia on Wednesday 21 February, missing the 43rd Annual Grammy Awards in LA. The stunning 30-year-old Latino was in Australia to promote her new album J. Lo, which features the hot new single Love Don't Cost A Thing and also her new movie The Wedding Planner; which also stars Matthew McConaughey and opens in July. Lopez jetted in with her dancer/boyfriend Chris Judd, while her ex Sean Combs, better known as Puff Daddy, is still on trial in the US for a gun shooting in a nightclub. In her only public appearance, after her press conference, Lopez arrived on Sydney's Darling Harbor, where thousands of fans showed up and screamed their support, while she signed thousands of autographs. Despite her fame and stardom worldwide, Lopez said to journalists that she's a normal person. As always, J. Lo looked incredible in a striped black & white top with white pants and her hair was slung back in a neat ponytail. Love Don't Cost A Thing is still climbing the charts and looks to be a big hit in Australia. © February 22, 2001 |
