| Avoid Conflicts, Get Balanced By Bhawna Chugh, TheWorldJournal.com Human Beings stand at the top most pedestal of the God's creation. We have been bestowed with the benevolent streaks of love, generosity, tolerance and understanding along with the fatal sparks of envy, jealousy and hatred. God has given it all and its in our hands, how to make optimum, rational and the best use of our skills and traits as their improper use can make us the ones to be worst affected. Thus, we need to follow certain guidelines to control our temperament. The foremost thing being that we need to be very cautious as not to act under an impulse. We should try not to loose our temper in any circumstances, as a cool head is a solution to a million problems. If we are confronted with a serious matter, we should weigh its pros and cons, think over our decision twice or thrice but pondering over something too much again may make us decide for the worst. Thus, we should think over our decisions rationally, not in a fit of ego, jealousy or impulse. We should think over our decisions with a balanced mind and then give it a final outlet to be heard by others. That does not mean that if somebody accuses us of some act of which we are ignorant, we should still wait for our decision to materialize by weighing its pros and cons. In such circumstances, a person should take help of a witty remark but with complacency and dignity so that the accuser is conveyed his own folly and you too maintain your decorum and dignity. God has created all humans alike with the same physical features and emotional traits, the only difference being the shape and the colour of physical features and variation in the degrees of emotions in each one of us. Yet we stand as His creation. Having lovable and generous feelings towards others evades the nasty feelings of hatred, jealousy and make us a better person. Your face is your true mirror. If you entertain good feelings for others, your face exhibits it and if you nurse in your heart feelings of malice and grudge against others your face reflects it. Thus, what you have in your heart and the way you think gets reflected on your face and makes you charming or vice versa. © September 23, 2001 |
