According to WetFeet research company, specializing in the Internet-recruiting, this year American graduates in the field of business administration (MBA) do not want to go to work in the Internet industry. Students are perfectly informed about the decline in the Internet technology market sector and do not intend to look for jobs in a dot-com companies.

WetFeet company has interrogated more than two thousand MBA graduates, and also students of the leading universities and business schools in the country. Results show that only 5% of them hope to connect their future with electronic business, considering this industry as the most perspective. Last year 36% of them thought the same. The most attractive to young experts is the consulting management. 17% of all students want to work in this sphere. Some popularity was also shown in biotechnology, pharmacology and investment banking areas.

By the way, not only student's priorities changed this year. Companies also were compelled to create tougher job requirements for graduates. For example, to receive a job offer, graduates now have to pass 4,4 interviews on the average instead of 3,0 last year. The number of companies desiring to hire graduates is also reduced.

For female students it is even harder to get hired in the Internet technology sector then before. Companies choose to hire young people with the same education level instead of women. 41% of women have not received offers for a job at all. This number does not exceed 25% for men.

No matter what field of business we're talking about, from the point of view of attraction of young staff, the most successful will be the companies, that are capable to provide the best opportunities for training, career development, nice job environment and effective administration strategy. Students consider these components as any company's success in the future.
