| Serious Changes in The Journal The Journal, TheWorldJournal.com For the last two weeks TheWorldJournal.com team was changing The Journal's design, content and politics. We would like to tell you what exactly was changed. TheWorldJournal.com management decided to create a new look of The Journal's main page for a very good reason - to make simple navigation and an attractive layout. "We weren't satisfied with our previous main page look. There were too much information on it and it was very difficult to locate quickly something you were looking for," - said Artashes Toumanov, the founder of TheWorldJournal.com. - "Now the situation is changed. We have a beautiful main page, easy to navigate menu and everything has its order now. The rest of the site remains the same because there is nothing wrong there. We weren't satisfied only with the front page of the Journal." And of course, the most important issue is the changes in The Journal's content. Here is the list of what was changed: World News section was changed to It's Important. Money and Economy sections were joined into Commerce. New section LIFE was created. World News section was changed to It's Important. Is there any difference? Yes, from now on Important News will contain not only important world events, but also some really important events that happen in our lives and in the world. "There are thousands of professional new web sites telling the world news to public. We aren't so fast as CNN or other news leaders at this particular time and topic. This is their profession and currently they do it better. What we are planning is to have the opportunity to tell our readers our own opinion on what's going on in the world and mix it with world's top events and social issues. And that's exactly what we are going to do" - said Artashes Toumanov after the online meeting with the staff. Money and Economy were joined into one section - Commerce. "If we're talking about Commerce, I can only say that it got smarter and better. Commerce section will include all the materials that are somehow related to money. Moreover, we clearly understand at what time we're all living at, so we made a decision to concentrate on more e-Commerce news. We're going to talk about major electronic events that changed our lives." The Journal also presents you the new section LIFE, which is of course about Life. In this news section our journalists concentrate on social events and other social problems. The Journal will start using free online polls, which will help us to understand and to count your point of view as well. You will always find our poll on our main page.
