Russian TV Tower Has Cracks In Its Walls

The highest building in Europe and second highest building in the world is in danger. Russian TV Tower, which was on fire in August this year, is starting to crack. And these cracks are becoming bigger every day. Moscow town hall doesn't know what to do.

Russian TV Tower, which is located in Moscow, has become one of the most popular places for its citizens and tourists. It's observation area (glassy floor on the 337 meters height) and a restaurant has attracter more than 110 millions of people from more than 100 countries.

After the fire in the end of August this year, when two people died in the elevator, Moscow town hall started to work on a new plan of another tower not to be in a situation without television in the country at all. And these plans need billions of dollars. But now the TV Center's walls are starting to crack. Experts say that these cracks have no danger for people or tower itself. The important part of the building - metal cables that hold this building. And these cables have been checked regularly after the fire accident in August. But as tower-workers say, these cracks are getting bigger every day. And that's disturbing.

The second highest building in the world - Russian TV Tower is 540 meters high. Its construction started in 1960s and continued 54 months. This tower is the important link to all central TV stations in all Russia. Tens of satellite plates and hundreds of other transmitters are places on it.

Russian citizens are disturbed about what could happen with this construction where their children like to spend time. And experts continue to persuade them that nothing's wrong if it.
