Two Attempted Assassinations on the President Of Russia

For the last month there were two attempted assassinations on the president of Russia Vladimir Putin. Chechen rebels in Yalta could have killed him during the summit on 18-19 of August. Second time could be in central Moscow by another driver, who run into the presidential cortege.

Security services increase safety around Kremlin.

Two times for the last one month President of Russia Vladimir Putin was about to be killed.

First attempted assassination was officially admitted by the presidential security services. Federal Security Service of Russia Federation confirmed officially, that during the summit in Yalta that was held on 18-19 of August this year an attempted assassination was preparing by Chechen rebels. Russian Federal Security Service has declared that this information was reported them by Ukrainian security agency. The chief of Ukrainian Security Agency Leonid Dergach proclaimed that they did arrested four Chechen men, who could be preparing the potential murder of the President Vladimir Putin. Investigators don't tell the press their names until they will be able to have some answers.

Second chance at least to injure the Russian President Putin had a driver of "Jiguli" (Russian car). The driver couldn't hit the President's car - before he approached his armored Mercedes, another security car (Suburban), took the hit on itself. From this hit, security car turned over. Two security agents are not injured. Civilian on "Jiguli" isn't injured either.

Presidential cortege's usual speed is 100 kmh. All roads are blocked in half an hour before moving. And the civilian car was moving pretty fast - 80 kmh. Much faster than the speed limit - 60 kmh. Moreover, the driver did brake several road rules.

Almost immediately after the crash, the presidential cortege (around 30 cars) went to Kremlin as fast as they could. The driver was arrested and interrogated by Russian Federal Security Service.

Actually, if we start looking at the details of what happened in case of this car, it could be a chance of murder. For example, if this car was filled with TNT explosion, let's say, 200 kg, then not only the President could be hurt. There were several murders on the territory of Russia Federation, when a truck loaded with 300-500 kg of explosion enter a city and bomb itself. That's why the presidential security special agents are always ready for this kind of tragic episodes.

Right after that, the territory of Kremlin was blocked with metal heavy constructions.

Now, it's almost impossible to approach the Red Square and the President's office in Kremlin by car or even by a helicopter/airplane. Everything's secure.
