E-MAIL THE AUTHOR Producers, directors, actors and other staff from "The Blair Witch" movie are smart and successful businessmen. Their second part of the movie "Book of Shadows" did appear in cinemas this weekend. Second time they are going to get the highest movie profit. Their first weekend was almost the best one - they collected more than $13,000,000. Movie number one this weekend is the comedy "Meet the Parents" with $15,000,000. But we have to agree that "Meet the Parents" is a well-promoted movie. "The Blair Witch 2" hasn't had a strong campaign at all; they, actually, don't need it because of the amount of fans they have. "Book of Shadows", as a movie, wasn't as victorious as their first "Project". Maybe its because they tried to please everyone so much, but the result does not satisfy everyone. Entertainment Channel's movie critics said that the only "boo" in this movie was the audience itself. And I agree with that. I had a chance to watch the premiere of the ' Blair Witch' in our local Paramount cinema. I can say for sure - people were scared more before the movie has started than after it. But anyway, they were very glad they watched it. Talking about movie's grosses - "Book of Shadows" will definitely beat all other current and previous pop movies. As I said before, after their first weekend they already have 13 millions. Our prognosis for witch-movie is more than $100,000,000. Artisan Company, the creator of it, should be very happy at least for two reasons. First of all, they are going to be rich. Second, now they have lots of other opportunities to make GOOD movies. But if they are going to shoot "The Blair Witch 3", I won't be unsatisfied at all, only because I'm the fan of this unexplainable, but "easy" horror.
